The One And Only Bad Boss

The Bad Boss café is a quintessential café serving comfort food and a place designed specially to de-stress gourm and sand, as its name suggests, for them to gossip about bosses. Nestled in the heart of a business park and close to the city centre, the café turns out to be the famous hangout place for office people who desire a getaway from work to embark on a gastronomical journey.

As you enter the café you are greeted by a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of antique cut stones and the luxuries of modernity.  You can sit at any table and you’d have a wonderful view of the workshop-like café where you can get to watch the preparation of a variety of beverages – coffee for instance. For those who are not bothered by the humidity and warmness of our rainforest climate, there are two cosy outdoor corners with comfy couches that can accommodate almost ten gourmands. Besides, there is a punching bag hung at a corner inside the restaurant for people to relieve stress.

You might not find The Bad Boss listed as an item on the menu but you’ll certainly find everything else delicious -prepared and served in a myriad of tantalising ways. This midtown mainstay is a relatively new set-up, delivering a mouth-watering fusion of Western and Japanese style cuisines to the city folks. The possibilities are endless – from delectable and innovative matrimonies of “Teriyaki Chicken & Torpedo Shrimp”, which is served with “rice of the day” and the chef’s salad tossed in roasted sesame dressing to the classic “Fish & Chips”. There is the wide range of palatable flavours and sauces, both mild and aromatically flavoured. There is also a great variety of food to choose from as the lunch menu (with prices ranging from RM14.90 to RM19.90) changes every week. There is also the tempting durian cake that will satisfy the most demanding of diners and it is very popular, a much sought-after item that is selling like hot cakes.

The chefs take great care in selecting quality and fresh ingredients for the dishes which come in generous portions too. The café also has a large selection of the best wines in the region which,of course, come with premium price tags.

Every trip to the Bad Boss Café is a story-worthy experience and a great place for catching up with friends or for a business meeting, not forgetting the myriad of gastronomic delights it serve!
