The All-New Maserati Quattroporte’s Malaysian Debut

Heightened elegance with enhanced styling, a host of new driver assistance systems and two new trim options; the GranLusso and GranSport

NAZA Italia, the official importer and distributor for Maserati in Malaysia introduces the revitalised Maserati Quattroporte which accentuates elegance without altering its signature Maserati personality, representing the quintessence of Italian sport saloons. Boasting a matte black profile bumper design at the front, matte black extractor at the rear and a sharp front grille, the matte black side skirts and wing mirrors are restyled, incorporating new technology. In addition, the electrically adjustable Air Shutter in the front grille provides optimal control of the engine’s coolant temperature and reduces drag by 10%. Interior improvements include the central dashboard accommodating a high-resolution 8.4” capacitive touchscreen and an infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring functions.

Furthermore, the all-new Advanced Driver Assistance Systems package includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning with Advanced Brake Assist, and Automated Emergency Braking with the option of The Surround View Camera. Engine-wise, the Quattroporte is based on V6 architecture and available in certain markets with 350 hp, with torque of 500 Nm, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h. Also available are the Quattroporte S and the Quattroporte GTS, with all versions complete with Air Quality Sensors, ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and electronically-controlled Skyhook shock absorbers. Unsurprisingly, the petrol-engined revamped Quattroporte starts at a selling price of RM778,800.00.

Offering clientele the choice of two unique trim options, Maserati presents the GranLusso and GranSport for both Quattroporte V6 versions, the Quattroporte and Quattroporte S. Also, the Quattroporte GTS with twin-turbo V8 is available exclusively with either the GranLusso or GranSport trims. The GranLusso trim has a sculpted retroreflector, body coloured spoiler, 20” Mercurio rims and black brake calipers with optional Ermenegildo Zegna Edition interior featuring a patented silk fabric on the seats, doors, headliner and sun visors, further refined with the Radica wood dashboard. The GranSport trim underscores the Quattroporte’s sportiness by reflecting the brand’s racing heritage with the centre and side air intakes improving cooling, the grille having aerodynamic inspired splits and the Black Piano spoiler drawing attention. Fitted with 21” Titano rims, a glossy black bumper finish, red brake calipers and blue inserts in the front Trident, the side Saetta badge and Tridents at the centre of the wheels adds to the regal feel. There is also customization in the form of the optional Exterior Carbon Pack for an added sporty feel. For more information on the all-new Maserati Quattroporte, viewings are now available at NAZA Italia’s showroom in Petaling Jaya.
